Residential And Home-Based Business.

  • Site Visit Fee: There is a fixed Site Visit Fee of $20 for the visit to you by one of our techs. This is the fee to get a technician to your location and is in addition to the Hourly Service Charge described below.
  • Hourly Service Charge for In-Home service: Our Hourly Service Charge for In-Home service is $80 per hour charged in 15-minute increments of $20 and is charged in addition to our Site Visit Fee described above. Unlike many competitors, we do not have a one-hour minimum service call nor do we charge in one-hour increments for our in-home service customers (This is a good thing!)
     
  • Two cost examples for In-home service:
    Example one - For a minimum visit of 15 minutes, the total cost would be $60 ($40 Site Visit Fee + $20 for 15 minutes at Hourly Service Charge rate) plus the cost of any hardware, software or equipment purchased and applicable taxes.
    Example two - For a visit of 1 hour and 8 minutes, the total cost would be $140 ($40 Site Visit Fee + $80 for first hour + $20 for first 15 minutes of next hour) plus the cost of any hardware, software or equipment purchased and applicable taxes.
     
  • Hourly Service Charge for home-based businesses: Home-based businesses are welcomed by CCT House calls at our In-home service rate described above.
     
  • Hourly Service Charge for In-Office service: Our Hourly Service Charge for In-Office service is $120 per hour charged in 30-minute increments of $55 and is charged in addition to our Site Visit Fee described above. We do charge a one-hour minimum for our In-Office service calls. Important note! We define In-Office service as service that is performed outside the home in an office or commercial setting.
     
  • When and how do you pay? - All payments are due at the time of service. Please make arrangements to settle up with your Technician (Guru) via cash or check, even if you will not be personally present at the conclusion of service.
     
  • Why does this agreement have so much fine print? - The language in our agreement is designed to cover all situations and possibilities even if they are not what you have called on us for (for example, if you call us for tutoring in Microsoft Excel, the language regarding moving furniture and drilling holes in walls is not relevant, however if you call us for installation of Network wiring, it is very relevant)
     
  • Why am I signing a release of liability? - The release of liability for the condition of your computer is necessary because we come to you not knowing the state of your computer and even a system which seems to be operating normally when we arrive, could be operating in a compromised state or even coincidentally fail during our visit. As such, we must protect ourselves from these chance possibilities.
